摘要
莎士比亚四大悲剧是莎士比亚戏剧的精华,而意象的精妙运用,则是莎翁最令人叹服的高明之处之一。本文力图从利用意象塑造悲剧人物性格、通过意象对比展示人物的善与恶以及对主人公的悲剧命运的预示三个层面进行分析,阐述意象在莎翁四大悲剧中对人物塑造所起的重要作用。
In King Lea r, Shakespeare applied comic techniques to contrast the tragic atmosphere and st rengthen the theme. Analysis of the comic elements in the tragedy is important f or the readers to comprehend it.
