摘要
大足宝顶山石窟是宋代开凿唯一的大型石窟。其中密教道场造像,可把汉传密教史延续近400年。宝顶山石窟造像融汇南北方艺术、跨登宋代石窟艺术的高峰,也是我国佛教艺术中国化、世俗化、生活化的典范,具有艺术与自然环境的融合、科学与艺术的交融之美。
The Mount Baoding Grottoes 宝顶山石窟 in Dazu County 大足县, Chongqing, are only large group of the Buddhist caves, which had been cut in the Song Dynasty. Its Tantrist sculptures prolong the history of the Chinese Tantrism about 400 years. The carved sculptures from Mount Baoding Grotto have fused the artistic style both Northern and Southern China. It is the most perfect grotto art dated to the Song Dynasty, and serves as a model of Buddhist cave art with Chinese characteristic.
