摘要
According to a typological research on typical potteries and stratigraphy, Bancun’s (班村) Yangshao Culture remains could be divided into 2 phases (including 4 stages). Bancun’s Stage 1 of Phase I is near to Phase III of Beigan (北橄) Site, Yicheng (翼城) county, Shanxi province, in time. And it is earlier than Stage 2- 3 of Phase I of Miaodigou (MDG), Shanxian (陕县) county, Henan province. Bancun’s Phase I (Stage 2-3) is near to Phase I’s early stage of MDG. Its Phase II is about the transition period from MDG Type to Xiwangcun Type. The recent discoveries of Yangshao Culture’s early stage in Western Henan and Southern Shanxi show that Yangshao Culture’s MDG Type should be mainly from these remains. During the development from these remains to MDG Type, they had been influenced by the Banpo (BP) Type in Weihe river valley. However, MDG is not from BP in culture origin. The finding of Bancun’s Yangshao Culture provides new materials for the studying of MDG’s origin.
