The Bank of China changed its role from the national bank to the international Remittance Bank at the first reorganization performed by the Naming National Government in 1928. In 1935 the second reorganization made the Bank of China become an important part of Kuomintang ' s financial control system. These two reorganizations exerted a tremendous impacts on the character and status of the Bank of China. And they also reflected the evolving relation between financial institution and central governments in old China.
