On Su Shi's Impact upon Literature in Yuan Dynasty

翁方纲“苏学盛于北”之语 ,主要指金代 ,但元代也适用。元代的文学创作颇受苏轼影响 ,其“影响”表现为互为联系的两个侧面 :一是苏轼的为人 ,为学 ,理论 ,创作 ,对元代文学的影响 ;二是元人对苏轼的推崇。

Weng Fanggang once said “Study of Su Flourished through the North', which referred to the Jin Dynasty, fitted the Yuan Dynasty as well. The great influence of Sushi on the literary creation in Yuan Dynasty was expressed from two interacted aspects: Su Shi's behaving, researching, theoretical viewpoints, creation effected the literature in Yuan Dynasty; Yuan people had greatest esteem for Sushi.\;
