the new century several key issues in South Asia need to be closely watched: impacts of nuclearization of India and Pakistan upon South Asian security situation, future development of the Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan, India's economic development and its foreign policy. These issues will, to great extent, influence the development of South Asian situation.
