敦煌壁画计算机存贮与再现系统的目标与实现

敦煌莫高窟是著名的世界文化遗产 ,早在 196 1年被国务院定为国家级文物保护单位。壁画图像是莫高窟最为珍贵的文物信息 ,记录在壁画之上的图像资料提供了极为直观和形象的历史素材。对壁画图像信息的保存曾用摄影和录像的方法 ,这些措施是用工程技术手段保护壁画的有力补充 ,但也具有一些无法避免的缺陷。计算机数字信息具有无损复制、良好的传播性、便于保存管理和便于使用、检索、查询等优点 ,因而成为了一种非常好的文物信息保存手段。敦煌壁画计算机存贮与再现系统最终的目标是能方便地查找有关莫高窟壁画洞窟的资料信息 ,可以真实再现洞窟壁画和进行壁画的复制等 ;开发和建立起一套适合我国国情的文物计算机信息保存实用化技术平台 ,并以此为基础 ,进而将这项高技术向全国文物单位推广 ,这必将极大地促进我国文物信息保护的发展。

Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang are the famous cultural heritage in the world. The im ages of Dunhuang wall paintings are the most valuable cultural relics informatio n, they reflect the history of ancient people. Photo and video, which have ever been used for preserving the paintings are some good method, but the method of d igitized wall paintings is better one. The images of digitized wall paintings ca n copy the whole wall but no damage, they can keep, manage, use, search and inqu ire for conveniently. The purpose of digital Dunhuang wall paintings project is to set up a technological platform that store and render the Dunhuang wall paint ings, and we hope this technique can be suitable China and used widely, and will improve the preserve level of cultural relics information in China.
