摘要
The ionic species in SnCl\-2-1-butylpytidinium chloride (BPC) ambient temperature molten salt electrolytes were investigated by using the computer simulation method. It was found that the Sn electrode potential was changed suddenly at 50.0% mole fraction SnCl\-2. The major ionic specie in the 33.3%SnCl\-2 melt is SnCl\+-\-3 and that in the 66.6% SnCl\-2 melt is Sn\-2Cl\+-\-5. Both SnCl\+-\-3 and Sn\-2Cl\+-\-5 existed in the 50.0%SnCl\-2 melt.
