摘要
提出了一种比较拉曼放大系统传输性能的简单方法 .对三种典型拉曼放大系统的比较表明 :基于均匀传输光纤和色散管理光纤的双向抽运全拉曼放大系统与常规的混合拉曼放大系统相比 ,传输距离可分别提高约 10 %和30 % ,而入纤功率可下降约 6dB .
A simple method is provided for the performance comparison of the Raman-amplified optical-fiber transmission systems. The results show that, compared with conventional hybrid-Raman-amplification systems, the maximum transmission distance can be increased by about 10% and 30% separately, and the input signal power can be decreased by about 6 dB for bidirectional-pumping all-Raman-amplification systems based on uniform or dispersion-managed transmission fibers.
