从“雒田”和“榃”的语源看古越人的谷田文化

A Research into Ancient Yue People′s Valley-field Culture Based on Etymology of the Characters "Luotian" and "Tan"

"雒田"是古越人耕种的稻田,其名见于秦汉史籍,语源出自壮语的na2lu:k8(山谷田)。""是古越人后裔壮人创造的方块壮字,其语源为壮语的tam2(鱼塘)。从此字的构造看,壮人的""式鱼塘,是由山谷田改造而成的。两字的语源反映了古越人以田耕为主,局部(因势)向渔业转换的历史画页。

'Luotian' was the paddy field of the ancient Yue people and it originated from Zhuang (Yue′s descendant)word 'na2 lu:k^8' meaning 'Valley-field'. 'Tan' was one of Zhuang characters like Chinese ones and stemmed from the Zhuang word 'tam^2' meaning 'fish pond'. And from its structure, we know that Yue′s fish pond was transformed from the valley-field. The origins of two words showed a historical plate that Yue people put forming first, and changed part of farming into fishery according to natural conditions, which was used for reference, by our people of today, to solve the problems of 'Three Nong' including agriculture, countryside and peasant.
