晚清科学的传播模式

Science Communication in Late Qing Dynasty

本文从传播学和出版学的角度论述了晚清时期西方科学在中国各领域的普及传播 ,主要涉及译书出版、口岸传播、留学生传播、通过日本转口输入、办学和实物传播等模式。文章分析了晚清出现传播科学高潮的成因 ,提出研究近代西方科学与中国几千年传统文化接触规律的可行性和必要性 ,并认为这些规律是今天中国科学传播理论的重要内容之一。该文初步分析了这些传播模式的特点、作用以及各种模式之间的联系 ,并结合今天科学传播进行一些理论思考。

This paper systematically discusses the dissemination of Western science into China in Late Qing dynasty from the viewpoint of science communication. It relates to the communication models such as communication of translation and publication, of ports, of overseas students, of running schools and of material objects. The paper analyzes the reasons of the climax of science communication in Late Qing dynasty ,and brings forward the feasibility and necessity of the study of interaction between Western science and Chinese traditional culture. Finally , it summarizes the characteristics ,functions and relations of various kinds of communication models. Therefore, it has the enlightening significance for us to do the work of science Communication.
