摘要
语言的组织是围绕三个元功能进行 :概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能。名物化作为一种语言组织形式可以从三大元功能的角度来解释。首先 ,它能影响人们对主客观世界的认识和反映 ;其次 ,它能作用于参与者的人际关系 ;再次 ,它能转移信息焦点 ,加强语篇衔接。
All languages are organized around three metafunctions: ideational, interpersonal and textual. Nominalization, as one way to organize language, ca n be explained with respect to these metafunctions. Firstly, it can affect the c o mprehension and reflection of the subjective and objective worlds; secondly, it can act on the relationship between participants; thirdly, it can shift the info rmation focus and enhance the textual cohesion.
