摘要
由于多媒体技术的飞速发展 ,越来越多的领域需要一种高效、实时数字图像压缩技术。现有的数字图像压缩技术都比较复杂 ,而嵌入式系统的是有限的。这就要求根据嵌入式系统的特点和图像的内容对数字图像压缩算法进行改进。该文介绍了如何根据嵌入式系统的特点和图像的内容对数字图像压缩算法进行改进。主要根据视频序列的统计特性和高级数字图像压缩比特—误差分析法 ,来降低数字图像压缩算法的复杂度。所以在嵌入式系统实现WEB -CAMERA ,该系统利用CMOSSENSOR采集图像 ,通过AD公司Blackfin2 15 3 5DSP实现H .2 63编码器且将uClinux移植到ARM7TDMI核的CPU芯片内 ,最终实现WEB -CAMERA。
With the fast development of multimedia techniques, there are many areas need more efficient real-time compression techniques for digital image processing. Fast compression algorithm is the key for solving this problem, but resource in embedded system is limited and fast compression algorithm is often complex. In this paper we propose some improvements for H.263 according to the characteristic of embedded system and video content. We pay attention to decreasing the complexity of compression algorithm according to statistic characteristic of video trace and Rate-Distortion (R-D) analysis. Finally, we realize WEB-CAMERA in the embedded system.
