R_(12)TAB/正丁醇/正癸烷/水体系的液晶研究

Lyotropic Liquid Crystals Formed in 3-Dodecyloxy -2-hydroxypropyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide/n-Butanol/n-Decane/Water System

摘要 绘制了3 十二烷氧基 2 羟丙基三甲基溴化铵(R12TAB)/正丁醇/正癸烷/水体系的拟三元相图。用电导法测定了微乳液区域内微乳液结构的变化过程。用2H NMR和差示扫描量热法进行了测量并与液晶纹理对照,探讨了该体系的液晶结构特征。结果表明,固定 R12TAB和正丁醇的质量比例,随含水量的增加,体系的液晶相结构发生如下变化,从层状液晶→层状与六角状液晶共存→层状、六角状与立方状液晶共存→层状液晶与微乳液共存。 The pseudo-ternary phase diagram of 3-dodecyloxy-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (R_(12)TAB)/n-butanol/n-decane/ water system was drawn based on experimental data. The specific regions in which a single type of liquid crystal existing or different types of liquid crystals coexisting or a liquid crystal coexisting with microemulsion were confirmed by polarized-light microscope. The change processes of microemulsion in a specific region were determined by electric conductivity method. The structural characters of different liquid crystals were studied by deuterium nuclear magnetic resonance ( ()~2H NMR) method and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) combining with typical liquid crystal textures. The experimental results show that with the addition of water into the system when the mass ratio between R_(12)TAB and n-butanol is fixed, the liquid crystal phase structure will vary from the single lamella liquid crystal through mixed lamella and hexagonal liquid crystals, to mixed lamella, hexagonal and cubic crystals, then to microemulsion and lamella liquid crystal coexistence.
