Taking Man as the Foundation——The Basic Idea for our Country's Society Development

“以人为本”规定了我国社会发展的根本理念 ,它回答了我国社会发展的目的和道路问题 ,体现了马克思主义哲学的根本观点 ,是以共产主义理论指导当前社会主义实践的具体体现 ;它与现代历史发展的潮流相符合 ,是现代文明的要求。当前 ,在“以人为本”与马克思主义哲学、“以人为本”与“人类中心论”、“以人为本”与“以社会为本”及与“以人民为本”等问题上均存在不同看法 。

Taking man as the foundation' stipulates the basic idea for our country's society development and answers the question of the aim and the way for our country's society development, as well as embodies the basic view point of Marxist philosophy, thus it is the concrete reflection for the present socialist practice guided by communist theory. It is in accordance with the tide of the present historic development as well as the demand of the present civilian. Nowadays, there exist different view points in such questions as the relation between 'taking man as the foundation'and Marxist philosophy;'taking man as the foundation'and 'the theory of man is the center';'taking man as the foundation'and 'taking the society as the foundation'and 'taking the people as the foundation'and so on, which should be clarified in discussion of them.
