邗江区96例药具避孕失败调查

A Study of 96 Contraceptive Failure Cases in Hanjiang Distric

针对开展“知情选择”工作后邗江区药具避孕失败有所增多的现象,对2004年上半年药具避孕失败的部分对象及镇村计生专干展开调查。调查结果显示:药具使用绝对人数的增多、镇村级药具服务工作不到位、药具使用对象的文化程度低是其主要原因。因此,继续推进“知情选择”首选长效避孕措施,加强镇、村级计生技术队伍建设,加强药具使用不良反映监测是当务之急。

Background:After promoting Informed Choice there are more contraceptive failure cases in Hanjiang district ,Yangzhou city. Methods: We investigated 96 users who failed in using FP methods in the first half of 2004 and the service workers there for their Family Planning. Results: Main reasons of contraceptive failure are: more people using FP methods, not enough contraceptive technical service at village and township level , the users' undereducated situation. Conclusion: To promote Informed Choice, the first choice is long-effective FP methods. Put more efforts on building the FP technical workers capacity, to enhance supervising the side effectives of contraceptive methods.
