有效支持WLAN的接入算法研究及其性能分析 被引量:2

Performance analysis of a novel multiple access algorithm for the wireless LAN

摘要 对IEEE802 11协议的DCF功能进行了研究,在分析原有的DCC算法的基础上,对其进行了改进,提出了一种增强型的DCC算法———EDCC算法.改进后的EDCC算法采用一维自回归滑动平均模型ARMA(α)平滑处理的方法,克服了原有DCC算法对时隙利用率估计方差较大的缺点,提高了DCC算法的性能,保持了原有算法的简单性、完全分布性、无开销性及其自适应性.仿真结果表明EDCC算法不但能够提高网络的通过率而且能够有效降低网络的业务负荷,实现降低节点能源消耗的目的,性能优于原有的DCC算法. This paper presents a novel algorithm, called Enhanced Distributed Contention Control, for improving the performance of DCF (Distributed Coordination Function) Operations of IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN (WLAN). The EDCC algorithm is an extension of the existing DCC algorithm by applying a more precise scheme for estimation of the values of slot utilization and contention degree. The Enhanced DCC algorithm reduces the distortion of estimating slot utilization by using an ARMA Filter method to utilize the successive estimating value of slot utilization compared with the DCC algorithm available. At the same time, the EDCC algorithm keeps the main characteristics: simplicity, integrability, complete distribution, Absence of overheads, and adaptiveness. Results show that the EDCC algorithm can provide higher channel utilization and lower network load compared with the DCC algorithm existing.
