In term of the different mechanisms of NOx formation, several low NOx combustion technologies are introduced, including low oxygen combustion, biased combustion, air staging combustion and exhaust gas recirculation, etc. Applications of low NOx combustion technologies in industry boilers and other combustion processes are mentioned.
