谈新编语文词典应有的特色

The Features that Should be Possessed by the Newly Compiled Chinese Dictionary

2004年出版的《现代汉语规范词典》有功能拓展延伸,收词充实丰富,释义更准确、周密、简洁、通俗等特点。该词典也存在着几个可商榷的问题:1.关于单字和单字义项区分词与非词的问题,2.关于词语该讲的用法问题,3.关于释文与词性的吻合问题,4.关于互见条的照应问题。

The Normative Dictionary of Modern Chinese published in 2004 is characterized by its extended functions, richer vocabulary, more precise paraphrases, explanations, consiseness and popular usages. In this dictionary , however, there remain several issues to be discussed: 1) the distinction between mono-word and the semantic component of mono-word and the non-word; 2) the usages of words that should be explained; 3) the paraphrases and explanations that should correspond with the parts of speech of the relevant words; and 4) the issue of the cross-reference item.
