The Present State of Manufacturing in Hong Kong

文章认为香港的制造业发展态势以外迁为主流, 逐步由劳动密集型向知识和技术密集型转化,制造业在香港经济中的地位不断提升, 并提出了“香港制造”和“在港制造”的成就应一视同仁地计入香港制造业的观点。

The paper holds that the mainstream of Hongkong manufacturing trend is transferring outwards, transforming from labor intensive enterprises to technology intensive enterprises. The status of manufacturing in Hongkong is being raised. The paper points out that ' Made by Hong Kong' and 'Made in Hong Kong' should be viewed equally in Hong Kong manufacturing.
