The leaf-consuming pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) was considered to be a high-valuable vegetable, characterized by its nourishing leaves and young ends that serve as main eatable parts of the plant. The primary cultivated techniques include: soil sterilization, accelerating germination with seed soaking, thinning out seedlings, strengthening the management of fertilization, irrigation and controlling of disease and pests, harvesting in time. The outputs of the vegetable were about 1.5t/ hm2 in open field cultivation and 1.8t/ hm2 in shed cultivation.
