The contemporary significance of the revolution of philosophy made by Marx and Engels

马克思恩格斯在批判传统哲学的基础上建立的以实践为基础的马克思主义哲学,使哲学发生了根本性的变革,完成了哲学史上从传统哲学向现代哲学的转变。马克思主义哲学超越了传统哲学中僵持于本原问题上的"思辨形而上学",而转向关注现实的感性世界和实践。世纪之交,我们应坚持马克思主义哲学在改革开放和社会主义现代化建设中的指导地位,并通过重新理解马克思恩格斯的哲学革命来探讨马克思主义哲学的当代意义。

Marx and Engels formed the Marxism philosophy which caused the revolution on the history of philosophy by rejecting metaphysics and completed the transition from traditional philosophy to modern philosophy. Marxist philosophy pays more attention to the sense world and practice than to the metaphysics in the traditional philosophy. We should persist in the guiding of Marxism of the reforms and opening up and the socialist modernization. We should reconsider the revolution which made by Marx and Engels so as to better understand the contemporary significance of Marxism philosophy.
