Pre-stressed anchoring cables are used, as a new technology, for controlling landslide. They can reinforce slope effectively and successfully. At the same time they are economical and can beautify the environment. The paper introduces the application of the pre-stressed anchoring cables to the curing of the landslide of the Yuan-Mo Expressway in YunNan Province. It expounds not only the structure of the pre stressed anchoring cables, but also the construction and checking procedures for the quality of them.
