近年来，徐州教育事业的办学条件明显改善，优质资源迅速扩大，教师队伍得到加强，教育质量和效益不断提高，各项工作取得了显著成绩，但是相对于时代所要求教育的快速发展及可持续发展还有相当距离，因此正视徐州教育事业是当务之急。

In recent years, Xuzhou has accomplished a great deal in its development of educational undertaking, its educational conditions improved, teachers' team enhanced, teaching level and effects raised. However, Xuzhou still has a long way to go to meet the demand of a fast sustainable development in education set by our time; hence it is a urgent matter to give more heed to Xuzhou's educational undertaking.
