应用型本科英语专业在构建人才培养模式的过程中，必须切实把握自身的本质特征，准确定位培养目标，紧密结合生产实际，合理构建课程体系，科学制定培养方案，培养出既懂专业又通英语的应用型人才，以满足社会和经济发展的需要。

In the course of constructing the education model of application -oriented undergraduates suitable for the growing needs of our country's social and economic development, the English specialty in the Foreign Language Department must fully realize the essential characteristics of its own and be sure of making a fixed orientation closely integrated with practice. Meanwhile, in order to make its students be qualified in English and professional knowledge as well, it should also rationally build up the structural system in both course designs to achieve the transition of teachers' role.
