语言学理论的发展推动了外语教学观念的更新；了解语言学的发展历史有利于掌握和了解现代教育教学理论。本文系统地介绍了语言学理论发展历史和在其影响下产生的不同的外语教学观点、方法，综合分析了各类外语教学方法的优点，力求探索未来外语教学的发展趋势。

The development in linguistic theories press forward the renewal of notions in foreign languages teaching. And a knowledge of the history of it can be helpful for one to master and understand modern educational theories. In view of the above spirit, this paper systematically introduced the history of the development of linguistic theories, and some different views and methods in foreign languages teaching resulted from different linguistic theories. After a comprehensive analysis of the merits of various teaching methods, this paper intends to explore future trends in foreign languages teaching.
