中国是肉类生产大国,但国民人均肉类消费量无法与欧美国家相比,出口数量又十分有限,人口众多的国情决定了目前畜产品主要是满足国内市场的需求,中国人的肉类消费现状和未来备受业内外人士的高度关注。
China's meat industry has been growing continuously since the commencement of the economic reform.As the largest poultry producer in the world,China's meat industry is characterized by a fragmented structure,where countless backyard farms pay an important role.Thanks to the improving living standard in China,the Chinese people consume more poultry,beef and mutton.This also reflects the increasing demand for greater value-added,convenience and variety.Over time,this trend has resulted in the consistent decrease in the share of pork in total meat consumption.
