A Textual Research on Ye Mengde’s Writings about Chun Qiu

叶梦得是两宋之交颇有影响的政治和文化名人,一生著述丰富。其中《春秋》类著述有5种,90卷。现尚存3种,58卷,即《春秋传》、《春秋考》、《春秋谳》。除《春秋传》保存完好外,其余两书均是由四库馆臣从《永乐大典》中辑出。此三部《春秋》著作自成系统,阐释体式新颖,内容宏富精深,颇有学术价值。

Ye Mengde, who had high status and great influence in politics and culture in his times, was a celebrity figure in the period between the two Song Dynasties. He had written many books during his lifetime. In his works, there are five different books containing ninety volumes about Chun Qiu, but only three containing fiftyeight volumes have been well kept. These books are An Explanation of Chun Qiu, A Study of Chun Qiu, and A Research on Chun Qiu, among which only An Explanation of Chun Qiu is kept perfectly, and the others have been collected from Yong Le Da Dian by the editors of Si Ku Quan Shu. These books are integrity in content but they are closely related with one another. The three books, which are fresh in style and rich in content, have great academic value.
