Due to the application of advancedprotection technology, the electrification transformation of the electrified sections of oil depot private lines can basically eliminate the threat of electric sparks to the safety of oil depot, so that electric locomotives can enter directly into the oil depot private line for placing and taking-out cars. The paper analyzes the reasons for the emerging of electric sparks, and puts forward specific measures of protection technology and points needing attention in the electrification transformation of oil depot private lines.
