Markedness Theory from the Perspective of Cognitive Science

标记理论是语言学研究中的重要理论之一,它存在于语言的各个层次.近年来人们对隐喻、转喻等方面的研究促进了认知语言学的长足发展,也为我们研究标记理论提供了新的视角.本文拟从认知观的角度,即从简约、自然、求好方面分析标记理论的特点.

The Markedness Theory is one of the most important theories in linguistic studies, existing at each level of human language. The research in such fields as metaphor and metonymy in recent years boosts further development in cognitive linguistics, also offering a fresh perspective on the study of the Markedness Theory. This paper aims at the analyses, from the cognitive perspective, of such characteristics of the Markedness Theory as markedness, cognition, economic motivation, egocentric principle, positive orientation.
