My Views on College English Translation Teaching

本文通过对大学英语翻译教学现状和常见大学生翻译练习错误的分析,指出其原因是考试不考,教材不编,上课不讲,进而论述了翻译教学的重要性,并提出了改进大学英语翻译教学的几点看法.

This paper,through the analysis of the status quo of College English translation teaching and common mistakes made by students in their translation exercises,points out that the cause of lower translation level is that it is neither tested in exam, nor compiled in textbook, nor taught in lecture,deals with the importance of translation teaching,and puts forward some suggestions on improvingcollege English translation teaching.
