Contrast on the Aesthetic Difference Between Northern and Southern Poetic Dramas “Moon-worship Pavilion”

本文从演述方法、艺术结构和语言风格等方面对杂剧《拜月亭》和南戏《拜月亭记》进行了比较 ,认为二者最大的区别在于其表达方式 ,杂剧侧重于抒情而南戏侧重于叙事。这既与作家的不同身份相联 ,也与诗歌和小说对二者的影响密切相关。

This paper makes contrast on the aesthetic difference between the no rthern and southern poetic dramas“Moon-worship Pavilion”from the aspects of pe rformance techniques, artistic structures and language styles. The authors hold the view that the greatest difference lies in their expression mode.The former lays emphasis on conveying emotions, while the latter on narrating plots, which is related to the influence of social status of the dramatists as well as that o f the society and times.
