DISCUSSION FOR CALCULATION OF PARAMETERS IN ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE BY SIMILARITY METHOD

摘要 本文从埋弧电炉冶炼过程的热平衡入手,讨论了电炉参数计算原理。推导了以熔炼区功率密度和电极电流密度为常数时相似法计算电炉参数的关系式。当电炉工作系件相似时电极间的电压梯度和极墙间电压梯度应为常数。讨论了电流电压比的概念。 Based on the heat balance during the smelting process in submerged electric furnace, this paper discusses the calculation principle of parameters in eletric furnace, deduces a relationship to calculate the electric furnace parameters by similarity method when the power density in smelting region and electrode current density are regarded as constants. The voltage gradient between electrodes and the voltage gradient between electrode and furnace wall should be constants when the operation conditions of electric furnace are similar. A concept about ratio of current and voltage is also discussed.
