摘要
本文对半导体激光器与多模光纤耦合问题进行了研究。对利用双曲面微透镜进行半导体激光器光纤耦合的方法进行了理论分析 ,提出了利用两个半柱型透镜代替双曲面透镜的计算模型 ,通过计算在理论上进一步验证了这种透镜对半导体激光器快轴和慢轴同时准直的效果。并利用这种双曲面透镜对发光面积为 1μm× 10 0 μm的半导体激光器与芯径 5 0 μm的多模光纤进行耦合实验得到总耦合效率为 74 %。
In this paper, the methods to couple beam of high pow er laser diode to fiber with a double-curve lens are introduced. Using semi-cylind rical lens are introduced model replace double-curve lens, this methods is analy zed in detail by rays tracing formulas. Proving that the double-curve lens can b e used to collimate and focus the beam of the LD in fast axis and slow axis at t he same time. Apply this result to the experiment of coupling emission laser di ode to center diameter 50um fiber, and the coupling efficiency is 74%.
