The Establishment and Application of the Model for the Water Retention Curve for the Unsaturated Section in Tailings Dam

尾矿坝非饱和带的滞水现象是影响坝体稳定性的重要因素。基于尾矿沉积物土工技术的经验参数,建立了含水率与基质吸力的经验模型。经黄山岭铅锌矿尾矿坝和试验室模拟分析验证,预测结果与实际观测结果基本吻合。

The phenomenon of the water retention in the unsaturated zone of tailings dam is an important factor influencing stability of the dam.In this article, the experiential mathematical model expressing the relation between the suction (ψ) and the volumetric water content (θ) is established,based on the experiential parameters in the soil engineering technique of the tailings sediment.The application in the Huangshanling Lead-Zinc Mine tailings dam and the laboratory modeling analysis has proved that the result of the prediction and the field observations are basically consistent with each other.
