A Robust Method for Handwriting Digital Recognition

摘要 提出一种新的基于数字首位两端的基本短笔划模式,采用结构模式匹配的方法实现含噪数字的离线识别。该方法首先将预处理后的数字图像进行端点数计算和方向编码,然后依据各数字端点数及结构特征的不同,分别采用横(纵)向切割交点数判断和局部模式匹配的方法进行数字识别。实验结果表明,该识别方法具有稳健的抗噪性和良好的扩展性,对较规范手写体数字有着较高的正识率。 A new kind of sub-stroke pattern is proposed in this paper based on the two ends of the digital. A method of structural pattern matching is adopted to accomplish the off-line recognition of noise-containing digital. First,the number of the ends is calculated and the direction of the stroke is coded after the preprocessing of the digital picture. Then the digital is recognized by judging the intersections of horizontal(vertical) cutting and matching the sub-pattern, according to the number of the ends and the structural features of the digital. The results indicate that the method is robust to noise, easy to expand, and effective for off-line digital recognition .
