摘要
英语词汇中存在一类发音相似、拼写相近、但词义没有联系的词,在教学中常常被忽视,在应用中常常出错、引起误解。教学中对该词类进行分类有助于学生掌握和应用这类词,并帮助学生扩大词汇量,促进大学英语的教学水平。
One of the problems with vocabulary learning involves the following types of words: those words which verbally sound similar but have different meanings. Such a problem is often considered secondary in importance, however these words are often misunderstood in text comprehension. This paper aims to illustrate and classify some similar words to help students increase their vocabulary as well as improve college English teaching.
