摘要
用Fourier级数方法,建立了集成光学行波型电光调制器阶跃倒相电极系统所需满足的方程组。用数值计算法求解方程组得出计算结果表明,用此法设计M=5,7,13分段的电光调制器的带宽与半波电压比值(BVR)分别增加26.8%,63.2%和94.8%,它们的调制系数频率响应平坦度在±O.3dB以内。
Equations for designing the step phase reversal electrode system of travelling wave integrated optic modulators has been set up by Fourier Series method. Numerical results showed that the bandwidth and half wave voltage ratio (BVR) of the modulators with M=5, 7 and 13 electrode sections have increased to 1.268, 1.632 and 1.948 times the BVR of conventional (M = 1) device, respectively. Their frequency response flatness is within±0.3dB.
