摘要
本文描述改善矢量最化图像的主观质量的两种方法:1)采用不同的图像块形状;2)对图像的中间区域(与周围区域相比)在编码时采用较高的精度。实验结果表明:这两种方法的重建图像都有较高的主观质量(与峰值信噪比相比)。
In this paper, two methods of improving perceptual quality of VQ images are described, using different block shapes and encoding the central area with more accuracy than the surrounding area of the image.Experimental results in both cases show better perceptual quality rather than Peak Signal to Noise Ratio on the reconstructed image.
