On Kin Chang-Gang's Achievement in Korean Sinology

1910年,日本吞并韩国之前,韩国政府使用的正式文字仍是汉文。金沧江是通过一系列严格的汉学考试的韩国最后一批高级汉学学者之一。无论是在其祖国还是在流亡中国期间,金沧江在一生中始终使用汉文写作,并致力于汉学的研究和总结。金沧江是韩国近代最重要的汉学家和文史大家之一。

Chinese character system was the official one used by Korean government before the death of the Korean country due to the Japanese occupation in 1910. Kin Chang-Gang was one of the lastest fine educated Sinologists who had passed a series of strike national examinations in Chinese organized by imperial Korea . He always insisted to write in Chinese and study in Sinology either he was in Korea or in exile in China. Kin Chang-Gang really was one of the most important Sinologists in modern times.
