A review of the research in the evolution of the political order in the countryside(1853-1953)

中国乡村政治秩序在近现代的演变是乡村社会史的一个重要内容 ,中外学者对此研究者甚多。本文从传统社会政治力量在近代的演变 ,国家政权对乡村社会基层的渗透与控制 ,中国共产党对乡村社会的政治改造三个方面对这些研究成果进行述评。

The evolution of the political order in countryside in modern times is an important part of the social history of the countryside. Much research has been done by both Chinese and foreign scholars. This paper makes a review of such research in three respects:the evolution of traditional social and political power in modern times,the state power's infiltration and control of the social basic unit in the countryside and the CPC's political reform of the rural society.
