The scholars concerned have shared their views on the shift of original sources in History of Three Kingdoms from a Confucian angle,but they,due to their shortage of concrete analyses and objective evidence,always stretch the facts in this regard.The article makes an empirical analysis of the change of the book in conformity with Confucianism from three aspects, including its mythical and legendary descriptions,divine providence records and its formation of the primary chronicle.It also provides new evidence for our clear understanding of the writing purpose as well as the historical conception of the book.
