As the key factor in sustainable employment expansion is to speed up the pace of economic growth,the relationship between economic growth and employment expansion has absorbed public attention.The most common index to measure the relationship is the employment elasticity coefficient for economic growth.The article,based on the economic growth theory,analyzes the interaction pattern in China's economic growth and employment,focuses on the relations between industrial structure,institutional change and employment expansion,and points out the way to solve such problems.
