摘要
资源预留协议(RSVP)是网络层的信令协议,用来为传输的数据流预留网络资源。动态资源预留协议(DRSVP)是对RSVP的一种扩展。DRSVP可以根据不同的节点不同的业务需求提供不同的资源预留,提供了一个可以在节点进行预留资源动态调整的灵活机制,充分利用网络资源。通过结合RSVP的工作机制,阐述了DRSVP原理,并对DRSVP和RSVP处理过程相比较,重点分析了DRSVP资源动态调整的方法;并讨论了DRSVP在光网络中应用的可行性。
Resource ReSerVation Protocol (RSVP) is a network layer signaling protocol that allows applications to reserve network resources for data flows. Dynamic RSVP (DRSVP) is an extension to RSVP, which can provide different reserved resources needed by different service of different nodes. DRSVP also provide a more flexible mechanism to dynamically adjust the reserved resources on node. The authors first illustrate the principle of DRSVP based on RSVP, and compare the processing procedure of DRSVP with RSVP, then analyze the methods of resource dynamic adjusting of DRSVP. The probability of DRSVP's application in optical networks is discussed at last.
