近期乌鲁木齐、昌吉、米泉、阜康、五家渠、石河子、吐鲁番七城市结盟 ,成立了协调委员会 ,表明乌鲁木齐都市圈的发展和培育已经具备了一定基础。而要真正实现城市的融合与发展 ,就要遵循“城市发展、交通先行”的原则 ,首先要在城市间的交通上实现通达。随着乌鲁木齐与周边城市的经济发展上的渗透、交通联系上的紧密 ,如何更好的依托现有交通体系 ,建立一个涵盖乌鲁木齐和周边城市的大交通圈以最大限度提高交通通达性已经被提上了日程。

Recently, seven cities allied including Urumchi, Changji, Miquan, Fukang, Wujiaqu, Shihezi and Tulufan andthe committee about it was established . All about this show that there has been an abasement for the development of Urumqi megalopolis .The principle of 'transportation first in city development'should be obeyed andit should be turned into reality that one can reach one city to another directly andrapidly in the Urumchi megalopolis. With the intensity between Urumqi and the cities around it in economy and transport being stronger and stronger, it has been referred that how to establish a big circle of transport which coveringUrumqi andthe cities around it. It should improve the transportation conveniencedeeply and make full use of the transport system that has been established.
