现有文献情报学在学科如林的科学世界中仍是一门被忽视的学科,其研究对象、应用范围、学科内容体系等方面的局限性都较大,有一定的封闭性和片面性。而未来文献情报学如文中所阐述的可以在六个方面进行外向型发展,即:文献情报学的未来出路——走向社会。

The documentary information and science is now still neglected compared with the other vast kinds of sciences.There existsgreat limitation in the area regarding to the object of study,coverage of its utilization and science system.To some extent it isclosed behind the door and one sidedness.The future information science as mentioned in the paper should be forged aheadoutwardly in six aspects.It means its way out in the future is to face the whole society.
