中国当代目录学研究的发展特点,突出表现在研究队伍结构的综合壮大,研究内容与形式的丰富多样化以及研究方法的一系列重大变革上。其中,研究内容与方法的变革直接涉及目录学研究者相应观念意识的转化。本文的思想实质在于从系统总结、分析与评述中展示我国当代目录学研究的现状,客观认识存在的问题,肯定新观念、新方法给目录学研究带来的新的生机,提出运用多学科研究成果与思维方法,放开眼界、广泛交流、突破传统思想之囹圄,拓展当代目录学研究的新领域。

Bibliography in China has developed a great deal in its scope over several years of growth.The article provides a general re-view on the research achievements obtained concerning its current situation,hot topics of study,the existing problems,philosophic thinking,development history and its prospect.Also the author presents his viewpoints on these issues.
