摘要
美国图书馆学教育在其发展历史中形成了独特的教育思想,本文从历史发展的角度概括美国图书馆学家、图书馆学教育家关于图书馆学专业的性质、要求和图书馆学教育基础的论述,并得出一些结论。
American library science education has formed unique theories during its evolvement.In this article,the au-thor briefly outlines the American librarians'and educators'points of view on the characteristics of library scienceeducation,its requirement,and the foundation of education for librarianship,the author also draws some conclu-sions.
