文献数据库的设计技巧

The Technique of Designing Document Databases

本文通过对 dBASEⅢ数据库的详尽分析,细致地阐述了文献数据库的设计在文献管理系统中的重要地位,指出目前编制和使用的各类文献管理软件在数据库设计方面存在的不足,并通过作者近年来对各类信息管理系统数据库建设方面的研究,总结出建立通用文献管理系统数据库的新方法,利用这种方法完成了我院科研项目《中文地质文献资料检索及管理集成系统》所涉及的文献、资料库的建设。实践表明:利用该方法建成的数据库可以极大地增强其管理软件的通用性、可维护性和可移植性,从而为文献通用管理系统软件的开发和有效利用奠定了基础。

Through a detailed analysis on dBASE Ⅲ database,this paper has elaborated the importance of the design ofdocument databases in document management systems,and pointed out the defects of now prepared and useddocument management softwares in designing databases.After years of studying on many kinds of databases of in-formation management systems,the authors have summed up a new method of setting up interchangeabledatabases of document management systems.The method has been used to finish the setting up of the database ofthe project“the Integrated System of Indexing and Managing Chinese Geology Documents and Materials”.Thepractice proved that the database set up with this method could greatly improve its interchangeability,safeguardability and transplantability of the management softwares,thereby lay a foundation for effectively devel-oping and using interchangeable management system softwares.
