This treatise probes into the conditions required for application of KF-100 to determine the trace water in butadiene. Conditions and parameters of the apparatus are confirmed through the study of a great deal of experimental data. Compared with typical testing method, it is concluded that KF-100 can be applied to determine the trace water in butadiene.
